The Writer They Call Tay

I'm back!

I am returned to my home, where my computer and my bathtub live. I had a wonderful week at the cottage, but I'm actually glad to be home. Ever since the year the cottage tried to kill me, I've slept on the couch in the living room and that gets a bit uncomfortable after awhile. Plus poor Ascii has an ear infection and I've twisted my knee and mum had cataract surgery on Thursday (we are all of us perfectly fine), so it's nice to be back in familliar surroundings. And I had a lovely week and found lip balm without soy or artificial colouring and it tastes like bananas. So, really life is good.

I wrote about 8,000 words of a longer story while I was there and ran some other stories that are finished past Ama, who is my beta-listener, so those should be posted soonish. I also watched Starter for 10 which Zip kindly sent to me for my vacay. It was very enjoyable, but needed more Cumberbatch. I find it very sad when I can even recognize the extras in a British movie (oh hai Joe Van Moyland).

Hope everyone else had a nice week!
